The Jeanne Sauvé–QES Mentorship Program gives QES alumni an opportunity to continue their leadership journey through one-on-one mentorship with experienced leaders. Over nine months, mentees meet regularly with their mentors, focusing on career development, leadership and applied learning. Mentees can also propose a project to advance their professional goals, with selected projects eligible for up to $7,500 in funding. Launched in 2025 with support from the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation, the program builds on the QES experience by creating new opportunities for alumni to learn, connect and put their ideas into action.
The Right Honourable Jeanne Sauvé was a trailblazer in Canadian public life, serving as Canada’s first female Speaker of the House and first female Governor General. A lifelong champion of youth, she created the Jeanne Sauvé Foundation to develop new generations of public leaders and help them address global challenges.
The second cohort brings together 11 QES alumni and 11 mentors from a range of sectors and fields.
