L&#039;\u00e9quipe de SmartICE (pour Sea-ice Monitoring And Real-Time Information for Coastal Environments [trad.\u00a0: surveillance de la glace de rive et de mer et information en temps r\u00e9el pour les environnements c\u00f4tiers]), un partenariat diversifi\u00e9 entre les collectivit\u00e9s, le milieu universitaire, le gouvernement et l&#039;industrie, a mis au point un syst\u00e8me de surveillance et de diffusion incorporant les connaissances traditionnelles inuites pour am\u00e9liorer les conditions s\u00e9curitaires par l&#039;interm\u00e9diaire de d\u00e9cisions \u00e9clair\u00e9es au sujet des activit\u00e9s de d\u00e9placement et d&#039;exp\u00e9dition sur la glace marine c\u00f4ti\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>SmartICE est l&#039;un des trois laur\u00e9ats du Prix Inspiration Arctique\u00a02016. Le prix a \u00e9t\u00e9 cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 2012 dans le but de rendre hommage \u00e0 des \u00ab\u00a0concepts d\u2019influence\u00a0\u00bb qui visent \u00e0 faire \u00e9voluer les choses dans les domaines de l\u2019\u00e9ducation, de la sant\u00e9, de la vie socioculturelle, de l\u2019environnement et de l\u2019\u00e9conomie dans le Nord du Canada.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb1dfd5 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bb1dfd5\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<blockquote>\u00ab\u00a0Pour SmartICE, le Prix Inspiration Arctique a chang\u00e9 la donne et a assur\u00e9 le succ\u00e8s de notre entreprise sociale en territoire nordique.
