ZMapp est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un m\u00e9lange th\u00e9rapeutique d\u2019anticorps monoclonaux qui agissent comme des missiles ciblant l\u2019enveloppe ext\u00e9rieure du virus Ebola, l\u2019emp\u00eachant ainsi de se multiplier. Ses premi\u00e8res applications chez les humains ont permis d\u2019obtenir le r\u00e9tablissement complet de deux missionnaires m\u00e9dicaux et de 25 premiers intervenants et r\u00e9sidents durant l\u2019\u00e9pid\u00e9mie d\u2019Ebola de 2014 au Lib\u00e9ria. Depuis ce temps, ZMapp sert de mod\u00e8le pour les \u00e9tudes sur l\u2019efficacit\u00e9 des th\u00e9rapies par anticorps monoclonaux pour lutter contre d\u2019autres pathog\u00e8nes infectieux comme le VIH, le virus Lassa et le virus Marburg.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-da1bcfd elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"da1bcfd\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">L\u2019innovateur <\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a62c355 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"a62c355\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Le Dr Gary Kobinger est professeur au D\u00e9partement de microbiologie-infectiologie et d\u2019immunologie et directeur du Centre de recherche en infectiologie de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 Laval. Il est aussi professeur auxiliaire de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de la Pennsylvanie et professeur agr\u00e9g\u00e9 de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 du Manitoba. Ses travaux portent principalement sur le d\u00e9veloppement et la mise \u00e0 l\u2019essai de nouvelles plateformes vaccinales et d\u2019immunoth\u00e9rapies pour contrer les virus \u00e9mergents et r\u00e9\u00e9mergents ayant de fortes r\u00e9percussions sur la sant\u00e9 publique. La Dre Xiangguo Qiu dirige actuellement la section de d\u00e9veloppement de vaccins et de th\u00e9rapies antivirales du Programme des pathog\u00e8nes sp\u00e9ciaux au Laboratoire national de microbiologie de l\u2019Agence de la sant\u00e9 publique du Canada. Son principal domaine de recherche est l\u2019immunologie, plus particuli\u00e8rement la mise au point de vaccins, les th\u00e9rapies post exposition et le diagnostic rapide de virus h\u00e9morragiques pouvant occasionner de graves cons\u00e9quences.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2fec150 elementor-widget
