Elle est professeure agr\u00e9g\u00e9e et titulaire de la Chaire de recherche du Canada sur l\u2019environnement, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et les politiques \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa et codirectrice scientifique du r\u00e9seau des centres d\u2019excellence ArcticNet, o\u00f9 elle dirige un nouveau programme r\u00e9volutionnaire de recherche appel\u00e9 \u00ab North by North \u00bb. Ses recherches r\u00e9volutionnaires sur les dimensions humaines des changements environnementaux dans l\u2019Arctique canadien lui ont valu de nombreuses distinctions, notamment son adh\u00e9sion au Coll\u00e8ge de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 royale du Canada et \u00e0 la Global Young Academy. Elle a dirig\u00e9 la r\u00e9daction d\u2019une d\u00e9claration scientifique du G7 sur les oc\u00e9ans arctiques et les communaut\u00e9s r\u00e9silientes de 2018 et a contribu\u00e9 \u00e0 plusieurs initiatives des Nations Unies en tant qu\u2019auteure invit\u00e9e pour des rapports sp\u00e9ciaux du Groupe d\u2019experts intergouvernemental sur l\u2019\u00e9volution du climat, de l\u2019Organisation m\u00e9t\u00e9orologique mondiale et du Conseil de l\u2019Arctique. Son leadership ambitieux r\u00e9unit des organismes f\u00e9d\u00e9raux, des organisations inuites, des communaut\u00e9s locales, des universitaires et l\u2019industrie du transport maritime, afin de positionner le Canada comme un chef de file mondial en mati\u00e8re de gouvernance du transport maritime dans l\u2019Arctique. Mme Natalie Carter, Ph. D., est associ\u00e9e en recherche et responsable de la recherche communautaire \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 d\u2019Ottawa, o\u00f9 elle a collabor\u00e9 avec 59 chercheurs inuits et nordiques et plus de 130 d\u00e9tenteurs de savoir inuits (experts locaux, dont les a\u00een\u00e9s) dans le cadre du projet ACNV. Mme Natasha Simonee est chasseuse, m\u00e8re et enseignante inuite de la communaut\u00e9 Mittamatalik (Pond Inlet), au Nunavut. Mme Shirley Tagalik est directrice b\u00e9n\u00e9vole de l\u2019Arviat Aggiumavvik Society, un groupe communautaire qui s\u2019attaque aux pr\u00e9occupations par la recherche ax\u00e9e sur la
