data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. Milica Radisic a invent\u00e9 le c\u0153ur sur puce Biowire, une technologie r\u00e9volutionnaire de mod\u00e9lisation des maladies et de mise \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9preuve de m\u00e9dicaments. Les tests traditionnels s\u2019appuient sur des mod\u00e8les animaux qui ne consid\u00e8rent pas la diversit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e9tique humaine, ni de la sp\u00e9cificit\u00e9 du sexe. En utilisant la stimulation \u00e9lectrique et la microfabrication de polym\u00e8res \u00e9lastom\u00e8res, Dr. Radisic a mis au point une m\u00e9thode pour cr\u00e9er et cultiver du tissu cardiaque contractile \u00e0 partir de cellules souches humaines. Ainsi, elle cr\u00e9e des mod\u00e9lisations sur mesure de maladies cardiaques de patients au Canada, permettant ainsi aux grandes soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pharmaceutiques de d\u00e9velopper de nouveaux traitements pharmacologiques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-211c942 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"211c942\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">L\u2019innovatrice<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8ee449a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8ee449a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Dr. Rasidic est professeure \u00e0 l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, titulaire d\u2019une chaire de recherche au Canada de niveau 1 en ing\u00e9nierie des organes sur puce et scientifique chevronn\u00e9e au Toronto General Research Institute. Co-fondatrice du Center for Research and Applications in Fluidic Technologies, elle dirige par ailleurs le programme de formation CREATE du CRSNG en g\u00e9nie des organes sur puce et en entrepreneuriat. De plus, elle est membre de sept acad\u00e9mies, dont la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 royale du Canada, l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie canadienne d\u2019ing\u00e9nierie, la National Academy of Inventors des \u00c9tats-Unis et l\u2019American Institute for Medical &amp; Biological Engineering. Ses recherches portent sur l\u2019ing\u00e9nierie des organes sur puce et le d\u00e9veloppement de nouveaux biomat\u00e9riaux qui favorisent la gu\u00e9rison et la cicatrisation. Elle a publi\u00e9 plus de 260 articles, notamment dans Cell, Nature Materials, Nature Methods et PNAS et ses 24 000 citations lui ont valu un indice-H de 77. Pour l\u2019ensemble de son \u0153uvre elle a re\u00e7u 47 prix, dont la m\u00e9daille du Jubil\u00e9 de diamant de la Reine Elizabeth II, le YWCA Woman of Distinction Award, la bourse Killam, le prix Steacie, la bourse de recherche Humboldt de l\u2019Allemagne et le prix Polanyi du CRSNG. Le MIT Technology Review l\u2019a inscrite \u00e0 son palmar\u00e8s des 35 meilleurs innovateurs et innovatrices de moins de 35 ans. Elle a si\u00e9g\u00e9 aux conseils d\u2019administration de l\u2019Ontario Society of Professional Engineers, de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne des biomat\u00e9riaux et de la McMaster University Alumni Association. Agente scientifique des Instituts de recherche en sant\u00e9 du Canada, elle est \u00e9galement pr\u00e9sidente du comit\u00e9 d\u2019investissement du Serbia Innovation Fund. Elle a cofond\u00e9 deux entreprises : TARA Biosystems, acquise par Valo Health, qui utilise des c\u0153urs humains sur puce pour d\u00e9velopper des m\u00e9dicaments, et Quthero, qui cr\u00e9e des
